the early sunsets

were somewhat unsettling

but it is now

starting to grow on me

my savings will be cruelly

splurged elsewhere,

no doubt on something

very silly (sake anyone?)

and not as heavenly as

assembled piece of fabric.

I miss BACKPACKS.

these ones from Dusen Dusen

are great, aren't they?

I've been buying nothing but

vintage leather satchels of late

and they are oh-so charming and

I love them to bits (quite literally)

but I miss the comfort of

being able to have straps

on both shoulders

with a zip

securing your treasures inside

you can run

and skip

and jump

with them on

without a bag

bouncing up and down

on your side

oh the joy
