Day 3.

Day 3 of my caffeine-free week, that is.

It is without a doubt,

I say this in all seriousness.

My caffeine addiction

was almost to the point of

self-destruction.

It started around the same

time as my insomnia,

as a part of a vicious

no sleep-beat tiredness cycle.

banana date loaf

which was oh-so heavenly

that I quickly decided to

make another but alas,

no more bananas!

So I added instead

came out mighty fine.

I gobbled down

countless slices

with a glass of milk,

watching the flames flicker

in the fireplace.

The hasty
